Critical Illness Insurance

This is insurance that pays you out a tax-free benefit upon diagnosis of a variety of critical illnesses, such as heart attack, stroke or cancer. If the insured survives the benefit is paid out to assist in the recovery of the illness or to provide some comfort during recovery or treatment.

Disability Insurance

Disabilty insurance or "income replacement insurance" is to cover the loss of wages should an injury or illness occurs and the client cannot return to work immediately. If you are the main income earner, will your family be able to maintain day to day expenses if your income is lost? If you take care of your children full time, will your family be burdened with extra expenses for child care if you were gone?

Long Term Care Insurance

In essence is the prepaying of your health care treatment upon a total or partial loss of independence. The benefit can be used for home care or to pay for a facility if necessary.

Benefits are paid when an individual is unable to perform two or more activities of daily living and/or requires continual supervision due to a cognitive impairment.

How Are Benefits Paid?

Long term care benefits are paid on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as long as individual is unable to perform two activities of daily living and/or requires continual supervision due to a cognitive impairment.

What is the Amount of Benefit?

Benefits are based on ability to pay. They range from $20 to $400 per day. The current monthly maximum is $10,000.
